FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Cat6 handles 1 Gbps (and 10 Gbps up to 55 m) and is the right choice for most offices and homes. Cat6a supports 10 Gbps over the full 100 m run and is worth it for server rooms, high-density Wi-Fi 6/7 access points and buildings you want future-proof for 10+ years. We recommend the category during the free site survey.

A practical rule is two drops per workstation, one per printer or copier, one per wireless access point and one per camera. We count devices with you during the walkthrough and add spare capacity so the next hire never requires a new cable pull.

Yes. Most installations are scheduled around your working hours — evenings or weekends when needed — and we protect furniture, clean up daily and keep your existing network running until cut-over.

Every run is tested with a cable certifier and labeled at both ends. You receive as-built documentation showing each drop, the patch panel port and the test result.

A small office (10–20 drops) is usually completed in one day. Larger multi-floor projects take a few days; you get a clear schedule in the written quote.
